The selection of the crew is done through careful screening so that each
vessel is manned with highly qualified officers holding valid
internationally recognized licenses and well trained and experience ratings,
and in the case of passenger vessels, hotel and catering crew.
GSS undertakes the necessary operational arrangements connected with
crewing including the regular payment of wages.
GSS also undertakes to transport their crew members to their destination
(including transport to and from each vessel) and it endeavours to do so in
the most cost-effective way. Arrangements are made regarding any necessary
travel documents including visas.
